How Refills Work

♻️ Candle Refill Program

Our refill program lets you bring in empty candle vessels — whether they’re from us, another brand, or something you’ve been saving — and we’ll turn them back into a fresh candle.

It’s simple, sustainable, and one of our favorite ways to reduce waste.

✨ How Refills Work

  • Bring in any empty candle vessel you’d like refilled

  • Choose your scent from our available fragrance list

  • Leave the vessel with us — we’ll take it from there!

Refill pricing:

  • $1 per ounce of wax that fits in your vessel

  • This includes wax, fragrance, wicks, and our time

Payment timing:

  • If it’s one of our vessels, you’ll pay at drop-off

  • If it’s not one of our vessels, we’ll weigh it and charge at pick-up

You’ll receive a text notification when your refill is ready.

⭐ Loyalty Points

Refills earn rewards too!

  • Earn 5 loyalty points for every ounce of wax used in your refill

⏳ Turnaround Time

Refills typically take 1–2 weeks from the day you drop them off.

Timing may vary depending on how busy our refill queue is — we always do our best to keep things moving while maintaining quality.

🧼 Preparing Your Vessel (Important!)

To keep refills running smoothly, please:

  • Burn candles down to no more than ½ inch of wax remaining, or

  • Clean out the vessel as best you can before drop-off

If you can’t remove a small amount of leftover wax or the wick — no worries! We’ll take care of that.

$5 Cleaning Fee

A $5 cleaning fee per vessel will be added if:

  • There is a large amount of wax left in the vessel, or

  • The vessel is extremely charred or sooted from untrimmed wicks

These vessels require significantly more prep time and can slow down the refill process.

We’ll always let you know if a cleaning fee applies.

🔍 Vessel Safety & Inspection

All vessels are inspected before refilling.

We cannot refill vessels that we believe are unsafe, including those with:

  • Cracks or chips

  • Excessive wear from multiple refills

  • Materials not rated for candle use

Safety always comes first — for you and for us.

⚠️ A Quick Note on Responsibility

By dropping off your vessels, you acknowledge that while we take every precaution, accidents can happen.

  • Vessels may break during cleaning or refilling

  • Decorative finishes (paint, foil, color) may wear or be damaged

We are always careful and transparent, but we cannot be held responsible for damage that may occur during the refill process.

If anything does go wrong, we promise to communicate clearly and honestly.

We’ll include examples below of:

If you ever have questions, just ask — we’re happy to help you decide if a vessel is a good candidate for refilling. 💛
