Looking for a unique local vendor for your upcoming market, festival, shopping event, or community gathering?

LiveYoung Candle Co. is a family-owned candle and fragrance company based in Frederick, Maryland. Our market setup combines personalized fragrance, handcrafted products, and an interactive mini sticker experience to give attendees more than a traditional shopping booth.

We consider indoor and properly covered outdoor events within approximately one hour of Frederick. Participation depends on the event details, expected attendance, location, schedule, vendor mix, and our availability.

Our Market Experience

Our setup can be customized to fit the event, but our primary market feature is our interactive Fragrance Bar.

Depending on the event, our booth may include:

  • A walk-up Fragrance Bar
  • Hand-poured candles and wax melts
  • Seasonal home-fragrance products
  • Laundry and home-care products
  • Event-exclusive or location-inspired candles
  • Roxie, our traveling mini sticker vending machine
  • A curated mixture of products selected for the event and its audience

The exact setup and product selection will be discussed with the organizer before we confirm our participation.

The Fragrance Bar

At our walk-up Fragrance Bar, attendees can explore 12 designer-inspired fragrances and select their favorite scent.

Customers can choose to have their fragrance prepared as:

  • Perfume or cologne
  • Body oil
  • Lotion

Our team helps each customer explore the fragrances, select a product, and choose the scent that best fits them. Their product is then prepared and packaged for them to enjoy.

The Fragrance Bar creates an interactive element that encourages attendees to stop, explore, and leave with something personalized.

Meet Roxie

Roxie is our traveling, vintage-inspired mini sticker vending machine.

For participating markets and pop-ups, we can create customized mini stickers inspired by the event, venue, location, theme, or community. Attendees use Roxie to receive a surprise keepsake from their day.

Roxie adds a fun, nostalgic element to our setup and gives guests another reason to interact with the booth, take photographs, and remember the event.

Retail Products

Our backdrop and shelving allow us to display a curated collection of ready-to-purchase LiveYoung Candle Co. products.

Depending on the season and type of event, the retail selection may include:

  • Hand-poured soy candles
  • Wax melts
  • Room and home-fragrance products
  • Laundry products
  • Seasonal collections
  • Specialty and novelty candles
  • Products selected specifically for the event’s audience
  • Custom event- or location-inspired candles

We generally consider events located within approximately one hour of our Frederick store. Events farther away may be reviewed depending on the expected attendance, schedule, opportunity, and overall event fit.

Indoor and Outdoor Event Requirements

Indoor events are welcome.

For outdoor or partially outdoor events, our setup must be located:

  • Under a covering supplied by the organizer or venue
  • On a firm, level surface
  • In an area protected from rain, wind, excessive heat, and other inclement weather
  • In a location with safe access for loading, setup, customer movement, and breakdown

Suitable coverings may include a large event tent, permanent pavilion, covered patio, or another secure weather-protected area.

LiveYoung Candle Co. does not currently provide a vendor tent. We do not participate in completely uncovered outdoor events that are dependent on favorable weather.

Our standard market setup does not require electricity.

Event Fit and Vendor Categories

We understand that organizers may not have their complete vendor list when submitting an invitation. However, please let us know whether you expect to have other candle, perfume, fragrance, or closely related vendors at the event.

We carefully review overlapping vendor categories because they can affect the experience for participating small businesses. The presence of another candle or fragrance vendor does not automatically prevent us from attending, but it is an important part of determining whether the event is a good fit.

When inviting LiveYoung Candle Co. to participate, please provide as much of the following information as possible:

  • Event name
  • Event date and operating hours
  • Event address and venue
  • Organizer’s name and contact information
  • Type and purpose of the event
  • Estimated attendance
  • Indoor or outdoor setup
  • Weather covering provided for outdoor events
  • Vendor booth dimensions
  • Vendor or participation fee
  • Application deadline
  • Required arrival and setup time
  • Breakdown and departure time
  • Parking and loading instructions
  • Whether tables, chairs, or other equipment are provided
  • Whether other candle, perfume, or fragrance vendors are expected
  • Any insurance, licensing, or paperwork requirements
  • Links to the event website or social media pages
  • Whether you are interested in our Fragrance Bar, Roxie, retail products, custom products, or a combination

How Our Review Process Works

  1. Submit your event information.
  2. We review the date, location, expected attendance, setup, vendor mix, fee, and schedule.
  3. If the event appears to be a possible fit, we will contact you with any additional questions.
  4. We will discuss which LiveYoung setup and offerings would be most appropriate.
  5. Participation is confirmed only after both parties agree to the event details and any required application, payment, or paperwork is completed.

Submitting an invitation or inquiry does not guarantee participation. Every event is reviewed individually based on fit and our availability.
